2 days and counting

2 days to go, started packing.
Just a tip, the space packers at sharper image really works. cust down on the space you need for clothes.
now if they had something like that for electronices that would be great. got 20 rolls of film! Is that enough. hope so with all the video and digital media.

Just saw that the weather in Nairobi will be cooler than I thought, adding on some sweats for the early morning.

6 days to go

finished bookings, finally.
now to pack. no idea how many bags we are going to end up with.
all the photo equipment is one bag in itself.

visas are all done, went to New York city yesterday, was surprized to see all the military guys with the big guns. Then saw the news about London and it made sense. Getting a little nervous about England now. People keep asking me if I still feel safe going there.
So far no change in heart. We have our Eye of London tickets booked. looking forward to it.

The internet is not working at home so a little handicapped. Hope Comcast will fix it soon.

its getting close, still need the visas for India.

got all the photo equipment together, Adity erased all the old video tapes got them ready.

Planning the Trip

The planning goes on, 9 days to go, still have to book the trains in Italy. Have to change some reservations, my friend who just returned from italy told me we should probably go to Pisa in the afternoon. So that doesn't leave a lot of time for Florence on my present schedule. So here goes another change.

Our present itinerary includes
Frankfurt, Germany
London, England
Venice, Florence, Pisa, Rome, Sorrento, Pompeii, Capri- Italy
Chennai, India
Nairobi, Kenya
Dubai, UAE
Delhi, India

will update as we go along.
